RIP: Adrienne Rich

“Poetry is the liquid voice that can wear through stone.”
Adrienne Rich

Adrienne Rich is one of my favorite poets and I just learned today that she has died. If you haven’t encountered her wondrous imagery and lust for language, I urge you to do so immediately. Her voice is feminine and feminist, loving, truth-seeking and clear. Her poetry will haunt you long after you read it.
