Resolutions with Resolve

Resolve: Verb: Settle or find a solution to (a problem, dispute, or contentious matter). Noun: Firm determination to do something.

Do you make New Year’s Resolutions? Do you keep them? If you’d like to share, I’d love to know what kinds of resolutions you make or have made in the past and whether or not you were successful in keeping them.

This year, I am resolving to

1. Edit one of my novels and to begin submitting it.
2. To write more poetry and submit at least one per month for publication or contests.
3. Lastly, field train the dog more seriously – aiming for one day a month of in-depth training and drills.

What are your resolutions?
